Electric winches
Where in the past most winches were hydraulical, these days you see more Electric winches. First of all it contains no oil (environmental friendly), but the main reason is the options you have with an electrical system and the accuracy with controls. This extends an operation working window and safety under harsh maritime conditions.
Types of submersible electric winches
Seatec offers a wide variety of electric winches such as survey winches, compact CT winches, CTD winches and high speed winches. Seatec also designs one-off winch systems upon customer requirement. In various applications the winch is combined with the Launch & Recovery operations which can be found under our LARS systems.
