Subsea electrical motors

Subsea electric motors are used in a wide variety of Subsea installations and machines. Often connected via an umbilical these subsea motors can be used for all kind of equipment. From hydraulic power for a powerpack to ROV thrusters and steering to all kinds of tooling devices. Equipped in oil filled stainless steel housings these motors can operate to full ocean depth.

Types of submersible electric motors

Seatec has a standard range of submersible electrical motors as well as customer specific. Subsea electrical motors are ideal to drive your subsea equipment, such as gearboxes or hydraulic drives. Our standard underwater electric motors are made of 316L Stainless steel and are oil filled with a water depth up to 5.000 msw (meter sea water). These are available in a various voltages and a wide variety output power from 250W up to 250kW. There are various subsea connectors and add-ons available upon request, to suit your application.
